Teams on the ropes - ENMU has been eliminated from postseason contention. ACU, facing TAMK and ASU could be in the same boat by week's end. TSU, with no room to spare has WTAM on Saturday. SOSU and ECU, with games vs. UCO and NSU, could be done by weeks end. Cameron needs a split to keep pace with NSU (assuming NSU wins as expected).

LSC North Women's
Britney Jordan, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Sr., Guard, Peoria, Ill./Peoria Woodruff
Jordan posted back-to-back double-doubles and averaged 33.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in two games against SWOSU. The senior guard totaled 32 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in the first contest, and followed with 34 points and 11 rebounds on Saturday. Jordan's efforts helped push the Lions to 6-2 in division play.
LSC South Women's
JoAnne Jones, Tarleton State University, Jr., Center, Arlington, Texas/Bowie
Jones averaged over 19 points in Tarleton's two wins over Midwestern State during Rivalry Week, helping the TexAnns go 2-0 in the same week for the first time since Jan. 8-10. At MSU, she totaled 18 points and six rebounds and at home she had a team-high 21 points and five boards. Jones finished the week going 15-of-27 (.556) from the field and 9-of-11 (.818) from the charity stripe with 11 boards and two blocks.
LSC North Men's
Clarke Hale, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Sr., G, Azle, Texas/Azle
Hale averaged 25 points as Southwestern Oklahoma State University split its two-game series with Texas A&M University-Commerce. Hale scored a career-best 31 points in the Bulldogs 81-76 overtime victory on Saturday. For the week he made 15-of-27 attempts from the field including a salty 71% from three-point distance knocking down 12-of-17 from the arch. He was a perfect eight-for-eight from the free throw line.
LSC South Men's
Malik Motnii, Angelo State University, Sr., Center, Moscow, Russia
Motnii averaged 18.5 points per game to lead the Rams in scoring for the week. Against Texas A&M-Kingsville at home, he poured in a career-high 23 points, going 8-of-15 from the field and 7-of-10 from the free-throw line, and pulled down six rebounds. At TAMUK, he scored 14 points, 6-of-9 from the field and 2-of-4 from the charity stripe, with two boards. In the two games, Motnii shot 58.3 percent from the field and 64.3 percent from the free-throw line with eight rebounds, two assists, one block and four steals.

I appreciate you doing the rankings but I wonder why ACU's women's team is ranked behind Commerce's? ACU beat them by 9 points head to head, and since then ACU has gone 7-3 while Commerce has gone 7-4. What gives?
If ACU sweeps this week, look for them to move up into the top 4.
We already talked about this earlier in the season. Every single team could have a situation like that with every other team in the conference. You can't just simply look at head to head. They play too many games and too many other things come into play.
