Eight WT football players indicted
Eight suspended West Texas A&M University football players were indicted Wednesday on charges they broke into the apartment of a Canyon man.
Indictments were returned in Randall County District Court against Shaka Harris, backup quarterback Brandon Hicks, defensive end Eugene Sims, Jesus Fajardo, Javaen Tillman, Brittan Golden, Hector Rodriguez and Kyle Thomas.
Each is charged with burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.
Authorities say each man played a role in the Nov. 23 break-in at a Canyon apartment complex.
