ASU is coming off an 82-77 victory against Abilene Christian on Saturday. Lionel Brown led five Rams in double figures with 17 points. ... WTAM is coming off a 64-58 loss to Tarleton State on Saturday. Demetrice Fuller led the Buffs with 15 points. ... ASU won the earlier meeting this season between the two teams 79-71. ... ASU is 17-32 all-time against the Buffs. ... The Rams will be back in action Friday when they host Eastern New Mexico.

Javelinas hoops teams in big doubleheader
Incentives are aplenty for Texas A&M-Kingsville’s basketball teams when they host struggling Eastern New Mexico ballclubs in a Lone Star Conference South Division doubleheader tonight at the Steinke Physical Education Center.

With a victory over the Greyhounds, the Javelinas men move within a game of clinching their sixth playoff berth since coach Pete Peterson arrived prior to the 1997-98 season. A&M-Kingsville is 6-2 along with Angelo State in second place, a half-game behind 7-2 Midwestern State.
