Jordan Schmitt, Abilene Christian, Sr., Catcher, Dallas, Texas/Lake Highlands High School
Schmitt had one of the best weekends of his four-year Wildcat career as he pounded out eight hits, three home runs and 13 RBI as ACU took three of four games from Central Oklahoma. ... In the Wildcats' 14-12 win on Friday, Schmitt was 4 for 4 with six RBI, and he just missed hitting for the cycle, falling short by a double. ... He had at least one RBI in all four games of the series, and had four in the Wildcats' 12-8 in on Sunday, a two-run single in the first and a two-run home run in the seventh. ... Schmitt had 19 total bases and slugged at a 1.188 clip in the series.

Isaac Garcia, Angelo State, Jr., Outfielder, El Paso, Texas/Dell Valle
Garcia tied a school record for hits in a game with a 6-for-6 performance in the second game of the series against Cameron. He also set the school record for total bases with 14 in the same game. Garcia began the series with a single, a groundout and a strike out in his first three plate appearances then reeled off hits in nine straight at bats. During that stretch, he had five singles, one double, one triple and two home runs, three RBI and six runs scored. Garcia finished the weekend with 12 hits in 18 at bats (.667) with six runs scored, four extra-base hits, including two home runs, four RBI, an on-base percentage of .667 and a slugging percentage of 1.167.

Kevin Hyde, Southwestern Oklahoma, Jr., P, Oklahoma City, Okla./Westmoore
Hyde pitched two scoreless innings in relief as Southwestern Oklahoma State University rallied for a 12-9 victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville in the second game of the series. He then started game three and pitched four innings where he allowed just three runs, none of which were earned. He was credited with the win in game two.
