LSC Roundup 2-23

ACU's growth chance
Many schools turn NCAA sanctions into a positive
When a program is hit with NCAA sanctions, as Abilene Christian University was earlier this month, it can often be an eye-opening experience for those within the program and those who follow it.

But with the ever-growing list of institutions guilty of major infractions now up to 280 schools, it's not an experience unique to ACU.

The road to recovery from such sanctions is rarely easy, but many have been through the process. And if the situation is addressed and handled correctly, a program actually can come back stronger, according to several athletic administrators nationwide.
