Ceaser to play in heart of Texas
Texas A&M-Kingsville apparently thinks Ceaser has what it takes to be a big man on campus. Thursday Ceaser, who recently completed his sophomore season at American River College, announced his intent to sign a National Letter of Intent with the Division II school and report to the campus in time to enroll for the spring semester.

"I wanted to go where I think football is a big part of the community," said Ceaser, who plans to study kniesiology. "I think it's going to be a step harder than JC football, but it's nothing I can't handle."

Safety Rashaad Johnson is transferring from Arkansas to Northeastern State. Johnson played in 11 games and started twice as a junior. He finished with 20 tackles and one interception, but didn't play in the finale because of an abdominal strain.

Johnson said he is transferring to Northeastern State. The senior will be eligible immediately."I just felt like it was necessary for me (to leave Arkansas)," Johnson said. "Some things happened, and it'd just be better if I went to another school."
