Offensive
Jennie Hutt, Abilene Christian, Fr., Outside Hitter, Papillion, Neb./La Vista
The freshman, Hutt, led ACU offensively all weekend to help the Wildcats improve and tie for a league best at 8-0. She had 82 kills in just 13 sets and hit efficiently with a .276 hitting percentage. She helped defensively as well in the four matches with 18 digs and five blocks from the outside hitter position. Hutt posted an ACU-high 17 kills in the Wildcats' victory over Fort Lewis College Saturday.

Laura Prinsen, West Texas A&M, Jr., Rightside Hitter, Spring, Texas/Spring
Prinsen continues to be a key to the Lady Buff offense, leading the team in kills with 52 and averaging 3.21 kills per set as WT split four matches at the Colorado Premier Challenge. She tallyed 15 kills against defending NCAA DII national champions Concordia-St. Paul. She contributed 3 blocks and 39 digs in four matches to finish the tournament. Prinsen was selected to the all-tournament team for her efforts.

Defensive
Shay Velasquez, Midwestern State, Sr., Libero, Amarillo, Texas/River Road HS
Velasquez was named to the Missouri Southern Invitational all-tournament team after averaging 5.07 digs per set while helping Midwestern State to a 4-0 showing last weekend in Joplin. The Mustangs extended their program-best start to a season to 8-0. The senior from Amarillo had a season-high 26 digs in a three-set win over Drury on Friday afternoon then followed with 21 digs against Northwest Missouri later in the evening. She then recorded 14 digs in wins over Missouri Southern and Dallas Baptist. Velasquez were nearly perfect on serve receive making just three errors in 129 attempts.

Lauren Flynn, Texas A&M-Commerce, Jr., Libero, Deer Park, Texas/Deer Park
Flynn recorded 104 digs over four games in the SBU Tournament. She totaled a season-high 36 digs against undefeated Wayne State and followed with a 22-dig performance in the Lions 3-1 win over Missouri S&T. Flynn has totaled 129 for the season and currently leads the Lone Star Conference with 5.38 digs per set. She moved into second all-time in the A&M-C record books with 1,395 career digs and needs only 249 more to hold the top spot.

Setter
Katie Rickwartz, West Texas A&M, Jr., Setter, Canyon, Texas/Canyon
Rickwartz tallied 184 assists in four matches, averaging 13.1 assists per set, at the Colorado Premier Tournament in Denver, Colo. She recorded her season high assists against #19 Augustana College with 59 assists. She also had one service ace. The junior also tallyed 46 digs on defense, averaging 3.29 digs per set. Rickwartz also had 11 block assists, earning three of those blocks against defending national champions, Concordia-St. Paul.

Allison Schreiber, Midwestern State, Sr., Setter, Windthorst, Texas/Windthorst HS
Schreiber garnered Missouri Southern Invitational all-tournament honors after averaging 12.33 assists per set while directing the Midwestern State attack to a .283 team kill percentage. The Mustangs won all four matches in Joplin and extended their program best start to a season to 8-0. The senior from Windthorst topped the 50-assist plateau on two occasions on Saturday. She finished with 51 assists and nine digs in a five-set win over Missouri Southern before notching 54 assists and completing her first double-double of the season with 13 digs in a four-set victory over Dallas Baptist. Schreiber posted 37 assists in a three-set win over Drury and 43 assists in a sweep of Northwest Missouri on Friday.
