There are two ways Incarnate Word coach Mike Santiago can look at his decision to schedule Midwestern State in this, the Cardinals' first season.
“There's a smart side and a dumb side,” he joked this week.
The upstart Cardinals will trade blows with Midwestern State, the 24th-ranked team in the American Football Coaches Association Division II national poll, at 7 p.m. Saturday at Benson Stadium.
That pretty well covers the “dumb side” of scheduling Midwestern.
